The Department of Biomedicine at Faculty of Health at Aarhus University invites applications for a position as Facility Assistant with relevant academic background within imaging as per 1 October 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is a part-time (18,5 hours/week) permanent position.
The department of Biomedicine prioritises diversity and a good work environment, as this is a prerequisite for groundbreaking research. Your job responsibilities
As Facility Assistant with relevant academic background, your primary tasks are in the imaging core facility. You contribute to daily task in the imaging facility covering administrative duties and assisting users at our microscope. In your daily work, you have a close interaction with competent colleagues.
Your main tasks will consist of:
- Maintenance of our homepage (imaging.au.dk)
- Invoicing
- Budget planning
- User introduction at our microscopes
You will report to the Head of the core facility, Professor Morten S. Nielsen.
Your competences
You have a background within life science in general and experience with fluorescent imaging.
As a person, you have good interpersonal skills, are inclusive and team-oriented and able to contribute to a good work environment.
We expect you to be fluent in oral and written English.

We expect to conduct interviews 2nd week of August. You may be given a case in connection with the interviews.
Terms of employment
Terms of employment and pay are regulated by the collective agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).
